Barn Owl is a very special place to relax. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped.The splash pool is a great area to drink sundowners and to cool off. We will definitely recommend Barn Owl to everyone that needs a break in the bush. Good value for your money.

Kierieklapper was nothing short of exceptional! We were looking for a little bit of luxury while taking in beautiful scenes of the bush and our expectations were definitely exceeded. The layout of the house is great and well set up with all you need during your stay, coupled with a great view (we saw elephant, plenty of buck specie's and even 2 lions walking past!). There is more than enough fridges and packing space for your trip. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The owners of the property definitely set up the house and included just about everything you could possibly need to make your stay amazing (ice machine, bar fridges, fire wood, inverters for when there's loadshedding, etc.) We were a family of 10 with two kids and every person commented on how amazing the stay was, from the rooms, to the facilities, to the views and how easily you can access the Malelane or Crocodile Bridge gates to the Kruger. We will definitely return to Kierieklapper and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious trip to the bush.

We have stayed in Lukimbi Lodge for the 3rd time. The location is excellent and the staff was very friendly. However, this time we did not have the same exceptional experience like the first 2 times.

Amazing location with great views over the river into Kruger National Park, many animals can be spotted from the lodge terrace. Very friendly staff, food is simple but good. Safari dives in Mjejane are excellent, there are lots of animals including all big 5, you are able to get really close to many of the animals. I would also recommend taking at least one full day trip into Kruger, the lodge was able to arrange this for us. Our guide was Mthunzi, he is incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush and can instantly identify all the species of plants and animals. The attached photos were taken from the lodge.
